Notes:

Sometimes when you do art, you don't know what the hell you're trying to accomplish, and stuff like this comes out.  What is it?  Why is it?  These are questions that cannot really be answered.  But despite that, there's still something there that tries to cry out.

Perhaps I should stop torturing my soul.

Oh, and the (e.g.) title does indeed come from the Latin exempli gratia, meaning "when in Rome."  And that came straight from Ron Burgundy himself, so you know it's good.
